this week's OTM

Did anyone catch the most recent episode of On the Media? I listened to it yesterday as I did my weekly grocery shopping, and found myself laughing out loud on more than one occasion, esp. during Bob Garfield's segment on "awareness months." Oh my god...when he asked that one guy from "big liver" if he ever "lie[s] awake at night hoping Paris Hilton will contract Hepatitas B," I thought I would drop my jar of jam.

Hahahahaha! Yes--it IS almost May! I was planning on calling you this coming weekend...such drama in my work life, you wouldn't believe...

      We must hang out soon!

As for the podcast, yes, it's worth a listen--even a second listen; I thought about playing it again on my walk home. Garfield's segment was intriguing, informative, and gosh-dang hilarious. We must discuss after you listen to it.

Real NPR listeners don't buy jam!!!!! And wishing Paris hepatitis is like wishing Keith Richards a needle related injury. It is going to happen eventually. I hope she gets AIDS. The really bad kind not this Magic Johnson bullshit. Thanks Gaus.
